Every set-aside in your NAICS codes. One brief, every morning.

GovInbox watches SAM.gov overnight across eight set-aside programs, writes a plain-English brief for each new notice that matches your codes, and sends you a deadline-first digest. Ask it follow-up questions from your AI assistant.

Built by a service-disabled veteran who got tired of Saturdays on SAM.gov.

Example brief. Notices shown are illustrative.

SAM.gov is the source of truth. It was never meant to be a morning read.

New set-aside notices post every day across eight programs and four notice types, one search filter at a time. Saved searches bury the deadline under the solicitation number, and the summaries are written for the contracting officer, not for you.

GovInbox does the reading. Each night it pulls every new notice from the official SAM.gov API, keeps the ones in your programs and NAICS codes, and writes each one up in plain English: who is buying, what, where, and when the response is due. What reaches you is a short list, sorted by deadline, with a link back to the original notice.

How it works

  1. Tell it your lane.

Pick your set-aside programs, NAICS codes, keywords and states. It takes about two minutes, and you can change it whenever your lane changes.

  2. It watches SAM.gov overnight.

Every night the radar pulls new solicitations, combined synopsis/solicitations, presolicitations and sources-sought notices for every set-aside code, straight from the official SAM.gov API. Nothing is scraped, and every brief is written from the notice itself.

  3. You read the brief.

One line per match, deadline first, with a plain-English paragraph and a link to the notice on SAM.gov. When something looks right, ask your assistant for the details.

An inbox and an agent. That is the whole product.

Your set-aside inbox

Only new notices in your programs and codes, sorted by response deadline. Each one carries a brief that says who is buying, what, where and when it is due, with the solicitation number and a link to SAM.gov. Two minutes to read, then on with your day.

Delivered every morning by email, and always there when you ask your assistant.

Your set-aside agent

Connect GovInbox to your AI assistant and ask in plain words. It answers from the same nightly data as your brief, so you can dig into a notice, check what is due, or set up a new watchlist without opening a dashboard.

  • Any new SDVOSB solicitations in NAICS 541512 this week?
  • What is due in the next 14 days for 8(a) set-asides?
  • Watch NAICS 238160 in Texas for HUBZone opportunities and brief me on Mondays.
  • Summarize this notice in plain English.

Works as a custom connector in Meta Muse. Every plan includes agent access.

Eight set-aside programs, tracked by their official SAM.gov codes.

The radar covers competed set-asides and sole-source notices alike, so an award in your lane never slips past unseen. Codes are the exact values SAM.gov uses, straight from its Contract Opportunities API.

It is an inbox and an agent, not a research platform.

Research platforms such as HigherGov cover forecasts, award databases, contact graphs, state and local buyers and grants. GovInbox does not try to match them. It does one job: make sure you see every published federal set-aside in your lane, briefed in plain English, before the deadline passes. If you rely on a research platform, keep it. This is the thing you read first.

What it does

  • Watches published federal set-aside notices on SAM.gov, every night
  • Matches them to your programs, NAICS codes, keywords and states
  • Writes a plain-English brief for each one
  • Sends a deadline-first digest every morning
  • Answers questions from your AI assistant

What it does not do

  • SAM.gov registration or SBA certification help
  • Proposal or capture writing
  • Pre-solicitation analyst intelligence
  • State, local or grant opportunities
  • Services of any kind. It is software.

Two plans, one job.

Pick by how many lanes you chase. Both plans include all eight programs, the daily brief and agent access.

Questions

Where does the data come from?

The public SAM.gov Contract Opportunities API, pulled every night. GovInbox reads the same notices you would see on SAM.gov, sorted and briefed. Every brief links back to the original notice, and you should verify the details there before you respond.

How is this different from HigherGov?

HigherGov is a research platform: forecasts, award data, agency and contact databases, state and local buyers, grants. GovInbox is a set-aside inbox and agent. It makes sure you see every published federal set-aside in your lane, briefed in plain English, and lets you ask about them from your AI assistant. It does not try to match a research platform feature for feature, and the two sit side by side without overlap.

Do you help with SAM registration, certifications or proposals?

No. GovInbox is software that watches and briefs. It does not offer services, does not help with SAM.gov registration or SBA certification, and does not write proposals.

Which set-aside programs are covered?

Service-disabled veteran-owned (SDVOSB), 8(a), HUBZone, women-owned (WOSB and EDWOSB), veteran-owned at the VA, Buy Indian and Indian Economic Enterprise, general small business, and local-area set-asides. Both competed set-asides and sole-source notices are included. The programs table lists the exact SAM.gov codes.

What does a sole-source notice mean in my brief?

Notices whose SAM.gov code ends in S (SDVOSBS, HZS, WOSBSS, VSS) or reads 8AN are awards the agency intends to make to a single firm. The radar includes them so you can see what is being awarded in your lane, even when it is not open to competition.

Do I need my own SAM.gov API key?

No. GovInbox keeps its own nightly copy of the notices and serves you from that, so nothing you ask ever touches SAM.gov's rate limits, and there is no key for you to renew every 90 days.

How do I connect it to my AI assistant?

After you subscribe you receive an access token. Add GovInbox as a custom connector in Meta Muse, paste the token when asked, and start asking. Setup instructions arrive with the token.

Can I cancel?

Yes, at any time. Billing runs through Stripe, and your access ends when the subscription ends. The only thing stored about you is your billing record with Stripe and the filters in your watchlists, which are deleted on request.
